About LokView

LokView is a grassroots digital news and public opinion platform committed to bringing authentic, regional, and people-centered stories to the forefront of India’s digital media landscape. Launched in 2024 from the heart of Bihar, LokView stands for “लोक की बात, देश की आवाज़” — the voice of the people echoed across the nation.

At its core, LokView believes journalism must go beyond studios, elite opinions, and echo chambers. Our work aims to restore trust in media by covering real issues, unheard voices, and overlooked regions. Whether it’s a farmer from Baniyapur, a student in Siwan, or a tech startup founder in Bengaluru, LokView provides a platform for every voice.

📜 History and Evolution

LokView was envisioned during a time when mainstream narratives often missed the ground realities of Bharat. With fake news, paid media, and corporate agendas on the rise, the need for transparent, unbiased, and accessible journalism was never more critical.

In early 2024, LokView was soft-launched on WhatsApp and Facebook, sharing local news, youth stories, rural education updates, and socio-political content in Hindi and Hinglish. The platform quickly gained local trust due to its “ground reporting with purpose” approach.

By mid-2025, LokView expanded its digital footprint to Twitter (X), Instagram, YouTube, and a dedicated website. Backed by citizen journalists, students, teachers, and freelance writers, the platform evolved into a robust source of alternative media — rooted in facts, empathy, and transparency.

🧭 Mission

To empower citizens through responsible, unbiased, and ground-based journalism — especially from tier-2, tier-3 cities and rural areas — and bridge the gap between local realities and national narratives.
